What you need to know before you apply:

Proof of ID and address

As part of the online application you will be asked to upload one proof of ID and address

Current Photo card Driving Licence
Current signed passport
Utility bill from within the last 6 months

You must:

Be aged between 18 and 74
Be a resident of the Republic of Ireland

Proof of income

You will need to upload income documentation as part of the affordability assessment

Wage slips or social welfare receipts
Bank statements

Personal information including your name and date of birth
Your address details for the past 3 years.
A contact telephone number and email address
If you’re applying for a loan you will also need to provide and upload proof of your Personal Public Service Number during the application process, you can see the full list of documents you can use for proof of Personal Public Service Number here.

Application requirements

Proof of Income & Supporting Documents

As part of your application you will need to upload income documentation as part of the affordability assessment and application process.

Employed

Payslip (dated within last 35 days); in some cases 3 consecutive payslips may be required
Letter from employer (dated within last 35 days)
Contract of Employment (incl. salary) (dated within last 70 days)

Self-employed

Remittance Advice (dated within last 35 days)
Audited accounts (dated within last 365 days)
Accountant's Certificate (dated within last 365 days)
Tax Return (dated within last 365 days)

State/Private Pension

Payment receipts from Post Office dated within last 35 days (containing customer name and income value) or statement dated within last 365 days

Receiving benefits

Please note: for all of the below, payment receipts from Post Office within 35 days (containing customer name and income value) or statement dated within last 365 days must be presented.

Proof of PPSN documents

When applying for a loan you will also need to provide proof of your Personal Public Service Number. Accepted documents include:

Correspondence from the Department of Social Protection or Revenue addressed to the applicant (dated within last 365 days)
Drug Payment Scheme (DPS) Card (valid and not expired)
Medical Card (valid and not expired)
Notice of Tax Credits, P21, P45 or P60 (dated within last 365 days)
Payslip or receipt of social welfare benefit payment showing full PPSN (dated within last 365 days)
European Health Insurance Card (valid and not expired) or tax assessment (dated within last 365 days)

Foster income - statement within 365 days
Maintenance payments - statement within 365 days
Verified rental income - statement within 365 days
