Your personal information will be held securely on our Loan365 systems so that we can help manage current and future loan applications, administration and product improvements.

Where we collect your information

We may collect information from:

  • credit reference agencies and fraud prevention agencies
  • our websites, applications, surveys, interviews, emails, letters and your device details such as IP address, operating system and browser type
  • your history with us, payments history and account activity
  • phone calls, which may be recorded or monitored for quality checks, staff training and fraud prevention
  • personal and financial information you submit as part of your application or account management

Information we hold

We may hold personal and financial information needed to assess, administer and manage your loan or application. This may include information relating to identity, employment, income, payment history, address and contact details.

How we manage sensitive personal information

The Data Protection Act defines certain information as sensitive, including racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, trade union membership, physical or mental health, sexual life and criminal records. As part of your ongoing relationship with us, we may be provided with some of this information. Wherever possible, we will always ask for explicit consent before processing it.

Using companies to process your information outside the EEA

We may sometimes use third parties based outside the European Economic Area. If we do, we will always ensure that your information is protected to EU standards. Sometimes these organisations may disclose information to foreign authorities in the fight against crime and terrorism.

How we use information to credit score

When you apply for credit, we use Loan365 credit scoring to help us determine an individual’s likelihood to pay. This process is reviewed regularly to ensure it remains effective and fair. We will also check your identity and complete fraud and money laundering checks. We may ask you to provide identification, payslips, PPS information, bank details and employer details as part of the process.

Contacting you about products and services

With your permission, we may contact you by email, phone, SMS or post about products we believe may be of benefit to you. We will not contact you about everything, only when we think it is appropriate and relevant. You may opt out of receiving this information at any time by calling or writing to us at the address below.

Obtaining a copy of your information

Use of cookies

You can visit any of the Loan365 websites without identifying who you are or revealing any information about you or your IP address. However, cookies are used to store small amounts of information about your device, which allows certain information from your web browser to be collected.
